Alexander Dedesko
1945-2026
DEDESKO, Alexander (Al) passed away peacefully on September 27th, 2026 at the age of 81 after a lengthy illness. Al was born in Montreal to the late Anne and Peter Dedesko. He graduated from McGill University as a Chemical Engineer. Al is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Joan as well as his cherished sons and their families: Ron (Sonia) and Steven (Manon); his darling grandchildren Jacob, Daphne and Sophie. He is also survived by his sisters Lydia McCrady and Ann (Richard) Pruski and brother Ken (Karen); sister-in-law Gail (the late Rene) Prevost, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. His wisdom, kindness and sense of humour will be missed by all who knew him. Many thanks for the wonderful care and compassion provided by all of the staff at Forest Hill. A private Celebration of Life was held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Canada or donation of choice would be appreciated.
