In memory of

Christopher Forrest Sunter

1959 - 2023

Christopher Forrest Sunter

1959-2023

Suddenly on July 14. Christopher leaves behind his parents Alan and Jean Sunter, his brothers Stephen (Joëlle) and Kirk (Kelly), Daniel (Elena), David (Mayu) and sisters Margot (Chris) and Jessica (Mariom). And his greater family of nieces and nephews—Adrian, Rachel, Katrina, Mathew, Emily, Jeremy and Rhiannon. Christopher was a talented writer and teacher who spent most of his working life teaching in China, South Korea and Tunisia. He was a formidable tennis player, a keen hockey fan and a pretty good goalie in his day. He had keen insight and a sense of humour that was never far away. He was a wanderer who kept his life pared down to the essentials and played the cards he was dealt as best he could. He will be deeply missed. Christopher’s family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date.
