WILLIAM (Bill) FREDERICK BONDAR

He was the much-loved Grandpapa (a.k.a. - Grumpy) of Danica, Arielle, Wyatt, Tyson, Ann, Carolynn, Liam, Chloe and Emma and 5 great grandchildren. Bill also leaves his brother Ron Bondar, nieces Tanya, Lara and their families, as well as his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Bill was born in Timmins, Ontario to the late Walter and Elizabeth Bondar. A graduate of Carleton University, Bill was very successful and respected in business and in the mining community. A great outdoors man, his heart was on the slopes, the golf course, a salmon river or on the island at Blue Sea Lake. Cottage life, though hectic, brought him many years of peace, joy and a simplicity that he loved.

Special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Perley Health, especially the special people on Gatineau 2 South for the excellent care and support they provided Bill. Yvonne, thank you for the love and care you gave your friend Bill.

Thinking of you all and hoping you can cherish all the good memories with this wonderful man.

A sad message from Camelot regarding Bill's passing. A wonderful passionate man that enjoyed life to his fullest when healthy. I know the last few years have been difficult but Bill squeezed in more memories than most. I fondly remember our games of golf and drinks following. We especially loved spending time with you both on and off the slopes years back at Le Massif. The two of you were great skiers and I was happy to learn from a couple of patient masters. Enjoying a dinner or two in Baie St Paul are etched in our memory banks and Bills ability to laugh and enjoy life is what I'll always remember. He's in a better place now and our deepest sympathies to you Monique and your extended family.
