She was the daughter of the late Palma Roy and the Late Yvonne Bastien of Kirkland Lake. She leaves to mourn her daughter Diane Therrien (James Rennie). She also leaves her brother Fernand Roy (Jeannette Saidon) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, family members and former students. She was predeceased by her 4 brothers and her 2 sisters.
A celebration of Jeannine’s life will be held on Saturday, August 20th 2016 at 3pm at the St. Margaret’s church located at 206, Montreal Road, In Ottawa. Family will receive condolences at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the St-Jacques nursing home in Embrun for the excellent care provided to Jeannine during her stay.
