Jean-Marie Vallée
1935-2026
Passed away on June 5, 2026 at the age of 90. Son of the late Ludger Vallée and the late Béatrice Naud. He was predeceased by his wife Denise Vallée and his son Daniel. He is the loving father of Jean, Sylvie, Richard (Marielle Dupuis), Michel, Joan (Guy Tessier), Lise (Kevin Obal), adored grandfather of 8 grandchildren and great-grandfather of four great-granddaughters. He also leaves many nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers Arthur, Luc and his sisters Marthe Marion, Simone Vallée, Jeanette Dufresne and Rozanne Michaud. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Montford Hospital and the Saint-Vincent Hospital for the excellent care provided. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montford Foundation and /or the Shepherds of Good Hope would be appreciated.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 10, 2026 at 10:30am at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church (435 Montreal Rd., Ottawa). The family will receive condolences at 10:00am at the church.

Pour moi il a été un homme que j’ai admiré pour sa sagesse, il était un père aimant pour ses enfants, une personne que plusieurs ont admirer, lui et Mine (Denise sa femme) ils étaient un couple que j’admirait dans leurs regards nous pouvions voir l’amour l’un pour l’autre ils sont ensemble maintenant et veille sur toutes leurs grandes familles. C'est avec tristesse que j'ai appris le décès d'oncle Jean, je souhaite a tous mes cousins & cousines mes plus sincères condoléances a vous tous.
Je garderez d'oncle Jean un souvenir d'un homme chaleureux et généreux de sa personne, il était le dernier de mon entourage d'une génération disparue avec les années...
