BERLINGUETTE, Jacques (Léo)
On September 14, 2022, at the age of 88, Jacques Berlinguette alias "Mr B.", son of the late Almanzor Berlinguette and Laura Jerome, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children, grandchildren and loving little puppies. On this day, he joined his beloved wife of 56 years, Joan (Cameron), who passed away in 2015. Jacques was an extraordinary father to Patsea (Michael Griffin), Louise (Steve Bird), Jacques, Anna (Richard Chrétien) and Lucille (Claude Saumure). He was also a proud Peper of Chasity (Matt), Fiona (Tim), Emily (Andrew), Sam (Ruth), Tyrone, Joshua, Desiree, Mathieu, Melanie and Jasmina; and great-grandchildren Keyanna, Michael and Brody. He is survived by his sisters Claire (Fern) and Jocelyne (Jean-Guy) and his brothers Raoul (Elizabeth), Gilles (Pauline) and Ti-Guy (Pierette).
A celebration of Jacques' life will be held at the Ottawa Funeral Cooperative, 419 St-Laurent Blvd., Ottawa, on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. The family will welcome visitors from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Jacques was an amazing fellow. Teddy remembers going fishing with him many times and playing poker and darts. He was always upbeat and such a gentleman. I called him Jumpin Jack Flash, he always seemed to be on the go. Truly a fine man. He will be missed by so many. Our sincere condolences.

I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved father, father-in-law and grandfather. Losing a loved one is heartbreaking, but I hope the memories of a life well lived sustain you during these difficult times.
