Harry Barber Sr.
1940 - 2024
It is with great sadness that that the family of Harry Barber Sr. announce his passing at the age of age of 83. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Bernice of 49 years and 9 months. He also leaves to mourn his 3 children, Harry Jr. (Christine), Cecelia (Trent) and Curtis (Kimberly); grandchildren Crystal, Jessica, Curtis, Michael, Christopher and Kody; extended grandchildren Curtis Booth (Emily), Samantha (Brandon) and Dalton; 3 great grandchildren Aiden, Clair and Jasper.
Also leaving to mourn are brothers Sydney (Heida), Kenneth (Sharon), Terry (Beverly) and Ricky, sister Marion and special sister-in-law Shirley (Bob). Family-in-laws Curt (Bro) (Helen) Brenda, Doreen (Brian), Ivy (friend George), Dale (Annette) Lynne, June, Richard, Robert, Kathy, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, his special caring friend Elizabeth Graham and Dutchess his true loyal caring pet who was always by his side.
A special thank you with love to my son Curtis (Kim) who moved back home to be with Harry in his final months of a long and troubled illness. DEMENTIA HAS NO MEMORY. In keeping with his wish’s cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
