Gerard (Gerry) Guindon est décédé le 10 février 2023 à l'Institut de cardiologie de l'Université d'Ottawa. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Beth (Alice Elizabeth), ses enfants Valerie (Steve) Guy et Peter (Wei) Guindon, ses petits-enfants Noah, Isaiah et Vivian et ses frères Bert et David.
À la mémoire de Gerry, une visite privée aura lieu le dimanche 19 février 2023, à la Coopérative funéraire d'Ottawa, 419, boulevard Saint-Laurent, Ottawa.
