It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorelene Guindon (nee Galloway). Dorelene passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on Sunday December 16, 2018 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital with her loving family by her side. Daughter of the late Samuel Galloway and Harriet Lough. Beloved wife of the late René Guindon. She will be dearly missed by her children, Linda (Claude Laprade), Michael, Susan and Christine (André Cazabon). Cherished grandmother of Julie, Christopher, Isabelle, Christelle, Joel, Joshua and Jack. Step-Grandmother of Kristina, Emily, Kaitlyn, Martine and Stephanie Great-grandmother of Gabriel, Coralie and Logan. Loving sister of Edna and Judith (David Farmer). Predeceased by her brothers Wilburt Galloway, Clinton Galloway, Elmer Galloway, John Galloway and sisters Anne Galloway, Jean Scharf, Glennis Levesque, and Joyce Poitras. A funeral service will be held at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church - 320 Olmstead Street on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 11 am followed by a reception in the Church hall.
She will be laid to rest beside her beloved René in the spring of 2019 at Saint-Mathieu Cemetery in Hammond, Ontario.
